There’s one thing that truly establishes The Disney Honors as the preeminent music festival…and it’s all in a name. With world-class Disney Resort accommodations and guest service, excellent performance venues, credible education offerings and magical special events, the difference is distinctly Disney. Nothing defines a Disney affair more than The Disney Honors Celebration Gala. It is a crowning event paying tribute to all of the accomplishments of the festival participants. Each ensemble is recognized and presented with The Disney Honors Award during this gala event.
When is The Disney Honors?
The Disney Honors National Concert Band and Orchestra Invitational and The National Choral Invitational are prestigious musical experiences that take place March 24-27, 2011.
Who can participate?
- High School ensembles eligible to participate include:
- Concert Bands, Symphonic Bands, and Wind Ensembles
- Full Orchestras, String Orchestras, and Chamber Orchestras
- Mixed Chorus, Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Chamber Choirs, and Vocal Ensembles
